Celtic singing harpist, Adria Jackson, weaves a magical tapestry of sound with her harp and ethereal vocals reminiscent of Enya, Loreena McKennitt and early Joni Mitchell. Whether performing ballads in Scottish Gaelic, Norwegian, English or even Elvish, Adria can be found performing in candlelit concert halls, intimate historic buildings or even sailing tall ships.
Recent performances include The Atlantic International Film Festival, Government House at the request of the Lieutenant Govenor of NS with master beekeeper, Michelle McPherson and The Helen Creighton Folk club with Persia tarist, Mohammad Saharei and the Sanctuary Arts Centre to release her new single Evenstar with cellist, Connir Cornick.
Before emerging as a traditional folk singer/harper, Adria was an experienced classical performer and music educator. After living across Canada ans the UK, Adria now lives with her family in Halifax, NS where she is soakimg up the East Coast Gaelic culture.
