Vocal & Songwriting Workshop

Come and improve your singing voice and learn about songwriting with Adria Jackson vocal coach/Celtic singing harpist & award winning singer/songwriter Terra Spencer in the beautiful historic house of the famed Canadian song collector, Helen Creighton.
This workshop is ideal for emerging & experienced folk/singer-songwriters from 1:00-5:00pm for 18yrs+. This is an unplugged event so bring your own acoustic instrument to accompany your singing (an electric piano will be provided).
We will start off the afternoon with gentle vocal warmups led by Adria Jackson followed by an informal chat about vocal health. As a group, we will then learn a traditional Maritime folk song from the Helen Creighton Folk Collection.
Participant Plus ticket holders will have a 10 minute time slot to sing an already written original song for everyone with positive feedback & advice from Terra Spencer & Adria Jackson.
